USPS Collection Box at Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO)

Location: Corner of La Jolla Shores Drive and El Paseo Grande.
Pickup Times: Weekdays by 3:15 p.m. and Saturdays by noon.

"Large" packages have to be scheduled for pick up. Please call Federal Express at 1-800-GOFEDEX, or schedule online.

Note: "small" and "large" are not well-defined, so this might cause issues now and then.

Pickup Locations and Times

• 3:00 pm daily pickup at the IOD office-building at the foot of the pier.
• 3:15 pm daily pickup at Contracts and Grants (room 116, Scripps Administration Building.

If you miss the SIO pickups there is a 4:45pm daily FedEx pickup inside the following office building:
La Jolla Shores Plz
2223 Avenida De La Playa
La Jolla, CA 92037

Note: There is also a UPS drop-off box with a 4:30pm pickup at this location.
