Administrative Computing
The SIO Administrative Computing group maintains the core information servers (web, mail list) for all SIO as well as email, web, database, calendar/contact, and financial (reporting and labor clearing account) servers for most SIO administrative units including the Birch Aquarium. We provide direct system and software support for SIO administrative units (except IOD, IGPP, and MPL) and provide local management of the computer networks for most of SIO. Working closely with UCSD Network Operations and UCSD Administrative Computing and Telecommunications, we also provide network and system security management, software and guidance to SIO personnel.
